What’s included in the design phase?

Our design process includes layout planning, finish selections, cabinetry, lighting, and a detailed material list. We also provide a comprehensive scope of work, often 40+ pages, that outlines every choice and step, so you know exactly what to expect.

Do you offer aging-in-place kitchen designs?

Yes! We love working with clients who are planning ahead. From wider walkways and drawer-based storage to lever-handled faucets and layered lighting, we design elegant kitchens that are beautiful now and safe later, so you and your loved ones can enjoy your home for many beautiful years. 

Do you handle permits?

Yes. Our in-house architect and structural engineer manage the full permitting process. We’re fully licensed and well-versed in California’s building codes, so you can relax knowing every detail is handled professionally.

Will I need to move out during the remodel?

Many of our clients stay in their homes during a kitchen remodel, though it can be disruptive. We’ll help you plan a temporary kitchen setup and offer a clear timeline so you know what to expect. For some, a short-term rental makes the process more comfortable.
